SEO and Google Ranking

After one month of making improvements to my website, the ranking of Google search results for the phrase “filipino engineer” on roydomingo.com improved significantly, moving from number 6 to number 2. One more step remains before reaching the top position.

This achievement suggests that my skills in search engine optimization (SEO) for Google are improving. SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the process of optimizing a website so that its link appears on the first page of search engine results for specific keywords or phrases.

Search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft Bing are among the major platforms to consider in search engine optimization (SEO). They help increase website traffic and may contribute to higher business revenue.

As for the SEO techniques used to make a website appear on the first page of Google search results—ahh, that’s a secret. I cannot share the details to protect my work and maintain my site rankings.

Anyway, my next SEO goal is to rank for the search term “filipino web developer.” Let’s see the results next month.
