Dragon’s journey in the year of the Ox

This will be my first blog post for 2009, and I am wondering if this Year of the Ox will be a good year for me, since I was born in the Year of the Fire Dragon. To find out what a Fire Dragon might expect this year, I checked Chinese horoscopes on the internet.

According to the horoscope, the Dragon and the Ox may not easily understand each other, which suggests that they may not be fully compatible. Hmm… does this mean I should be worried for the rest of the year? I don’t think so.

I also reviewed what happened to me in 1997, another Year of the Ox, and I noticed that it was a great year for me. I received high grades in all my major subjects, was elected as the trainee leader during my OJT at Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation, and enjoyed visiting several electronic companies in Manila.

So, I believe that not all Dragons will have the same fate in the Year of the Ox. I am a Fire Dragon, and my zodiac sign is Aries. According to horoscopes, Aries Fire Dragons tend to have good luck. Therefore, I have nothing to worry about because I am confident that I will have a great year.
